Missing Sam Kinison

As many of you know, we lost comedian Sam Kinison in an automobile accident back in 1992. For those of you who do not remember him, Sam was described as a "heavy metal" comedian who was well known for being raunchy and irreverent. Interestingly, prior to becoming a comedian he was an ordained Pentecostal Minister. But he was better known for his shock-rock humor who made biting commentaries of our time. It seemed nobody was spared, but his favorite targets were Rev. Jim Bakker of the PTL Club and his wife Tammy, Jessica Hahn, the Pope, Oral Roberts, religion in general, World Hunger, Gays, and several commentaries on sex, drugs and Rock n'Roll. I can still vividly remember his trademark scream. His humor would make just about everyone blush, but behind it all you had to admit there was an element of truth and wisdom in his comedy, and this is what ultimately endeared him to the public. Many didn't understand how a former minister could be so vulgar, but as for me, I clearly understood what he was trying to tell us.

What is sad is that Sam was cut down just as the times were changing and we needed his biting humor more than ever. Had Sam survived, imagine what he could have done with Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and Anita Hill, President Clinton and Monica Lewinsky, Drummer Tommy Lee and Pam Anderson, Anna Nicole Smith and Paris Hilton. But Sam's humor was not confined to sex, I would have loved to have heard his take on Bill Gates and Windows, Steve Jobs and the iPod, the Internet, the Taliban, Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden, Iraq and Saddam Hussein, immigration, and on and on. Unfortunately, Sam missed a period of time which would have given him more fodder for his humor than he could have imagined. But such was not to be.

What few people realize is that just prior to his death, Sam was planning on giving up comedy and going back to being a Minister. As for me, Sam taught me that in an age of political correctness, maybe some intolerance and ridicule is deserved; that maybe we shouldn't just sit back and accept the status quo and instead we should speak up and voice our displeasure, and; that perhaps we take ourselves way too seriously.

So, Yes, I miss Sam, not just for how he ranted and raved, but more importantly, what he was trying to tell us.

Top 10 Ways That Make One Book Outsell Another

Why write a book if you don't want it to bring you fame and fortune? Use these 10 ways to make your book outsell others.

1. Write a non-fiction book. Non-fiction books are 90% of total book sales. It makes sense to write and market non-fiction first. The most popular? How to and self-help books. You can use your profits to partially finance a fiction project.

2. Write a mini book. Mini books in any format, like eBooks, booklets, guides or special reports are faster, easier, and cheaper to write than full length books of 100-300 pages. The can be as short as five pages (special reports), to eBooks that can be 5-100pages (even longer)..

3. Target your book toward women. Women buy far more books than men, about 75%. If your message benefits women, you'll do well in sales. If it's a book your audience needs, it will sell more. It's best to see the need and fill it rather than have an idea then look for an audience.

4. Keep your book's image sharp.Image is almost everything. Choose your title with care. Your front cover and title have around four to eight seconds to impress your potential buyer. Be clear, use metaphor and make sure your visuals connect to your title. . Elicit an emotion by your title words (preferably 5-7 words). What solutions and results does your book promise?

5. Expand your book into a series. Think of the huge success of the Chicken Soup Series. They have one cover for all the titles. One count was 12 million. Think of spin-off products that relate to your book. Some people prefer to learn by listening so the cassette, MP3, or CD-ROM. I recently bought a serial eBook and loved getting two chapters a week so easy to digest. These formats can actually help you sell more books. 6. Impress your potential buyer within eight to ten seconds with your back cover copy. At the top put your headliner. It must hook your readers, stir up their emotions, hit their desire. What benefits does your book offer? How to get more money, heart-centered relationships, more fame, more health? Include from 3-5 bullets of benefits, what your book promises its readers if you have room. Remember, testimonials sell more books than anything else.

7. Create your written marketing plan before you finish your book. This plan covers your first year's launch period and lifetime plan. You'll want to market at least one year. Inexperienced authors wait until publication and lose a great deal of sales. Your plan could include how many books you want to sell or how much money your want to make each month. Include your 30 second tell and sell, book reviews, news releases, the articles to market your book, the book signings, talks, electronic newsletters, and a book web site. Your HLAs may include writing an article to post on high-traffic web sites (my favorite), contacting a person to co-market, writing a book sales letter for your web site.

9. Include web marketing to sell more books. While you can sell your books on other peoples site, you eventually will want your own. An author without a web site is like a person without a name. Return Of The Monster

The Monster of the title is none other than Dollar Monster. Anyone who had dealings with Dollar Monster previously believed the beast had been slain by its owners but, it seems, it had just been banished and now is baaaaaaaaaack (as it says in its ads). Presumably the owners of Dollar Monster believe they have remained out of sight long enough for people to have forgiven or forgotten the events of 2004.

Dollar Monster pretends to be a friendly little monster who will help you to make money. It says: "DollarMonster's #1 priority is helping you make money!" In fact, its clear from the website that Dollar Monster will make the money for you and you can just sit back in your easy chair and do nothing. Dollar Monster claims to be the lazy person's way of making money; that should be a big enough hint that this program does not offer a legitimate way to make money.

Dollar Monster is a money doubler. Money Doubler programs enjoyed a brief spell of popularity back in 2004. Their popularity ended as one money doubler program after another closed owing members large sums of money and the whole money doubler industry was exposed as being a scam consisting of numerous pyramid schemes. The surprising thing is that the new Dollar Monster website refers to 2004 and to the notorious Easy Chair Club (sometimes described as the biggest Internet scam in recent history). It would seem more sensible for this site to pretend to have no connection whatsoever with the Easy Chair Club or the Dollar Monster that existed in 2004. In fact, it would seem more sensible to open up using an entirely different name because the people who joined Dollar Monster (or its sister site, My Magic Doubler) the first time round aren't going to be sucked in again and will warn people not to take part in the program.

The way money doublers work is that you pay money to the program, other people sign up after you and also pay money in. When enough has been paid in by new members, you get paid double the amount you first invested. The people whose money was used to pay you, get paid when members have paid enough cash in after them and so on

When money doubler programs are first launched, the cycle time is very short (it can be a matter of hours) but as more people join the cycle time gets longer because the number of new members required to cycle existing member positions grows exponentially. Eventually, the cycle time becomes so long the program ceases to attract new members and, when the cash injections dry up, the doubler stalls. With no new recruits bringing in cash, the members on the lowest level don't get double their money back, they lose all the money they paid in. At this point, the program and its owner normally disappear.

Money Doubler programs can survive for anything from a matter of hours up to several months. The ones that disappear within hours are normally run by outright crooks who had no intention of paying any money out to anyone. As soon as they have obtained a substantial sum of cash, they just vanish with it. If you are lucky you might avoid these particular crooks and might even make some money. One thing that is guaranteed is that if you aren't lucky enough to join at the right time, you will lose your money.

I hope the return of Dollar Monster does not signal the start of a new money doubler craze. People who were not around in 2004 might take to money doublers as a replacement for the rapidly declining autosurf for cash programs. In 2004 I fell for the story that money doublers were legitimate programs and the money they paid out came from advertising revenue. I speak from experience when I say that if you want to make money on the Internet, you have to work for it. Dollar Monster and similar money doubler programs are not an alternative to working for a living.

These guides list the percentage of new authors published as well as the percentage of sales they pay. You may find pay rates ranging from 5-10% of sales. Some pay on wholesale sales and others on the retail amount. Do the math. Perhaps your book will retail for $14.95 and the publisher will pay 6% on retail. This means you will earn 90 cents per book sold. Of course dont forget that the publisher is doing all the printing, distributing, and marketing of your text.

So, how to maximize your profit from infopreneuring if you only get 90 cents per book sold? Simply forget the publishers and publish your manuscript by yourself. You may need some advance cash to print your manuscript into books and do the marketing. But don't worry. You have alternative to monetize your book easily and less expensively. How? Convert your book into ebook and use the internet to distribute and market it.

When you selfpublish your works, you still have to pay upfront and do all the initial publishing works. But it worth it. Especially when you selfpublish through the internet.

Submitting Articles For Fun and Profit

When you place your articles on the web and on your websites and blog, be sure to include a link to your affiliate webpage. Your click through rate will increase, and will be more than banners alone can produce. Text links rather than picture links are actually the better clicked items.

So when you write your articles, put the link either in them or in your bio. Be sure to describe the affiliate product in the article.

You cannot make your article an advertisement for your affiliate, but you can make articles that would be used on your own web site and relate to your affiliate. The best place to put your links (up to two links) is in the author bio section at the bottom of your article. Some article submissions will not allow affiliate links, so put the link to your main page of your website and be sure that it has the affiliate link dominate on that website page.

You can make an article be a review of a type of product and include the link. But this is riskier and will not always be accepted.

When submitting an article to someone's individual website, you will need to make it clear that the author bio at the bottom of the article will need to be included if published on the site. However, if you are submitting to article submission sites, the bio box is always included, though on some sites you will need to add it at the bottom of your article in on other sites its a separate box you will need to put the information in.

By authoring articles you are becoming an "expert" in your field, and are allowed to "recommend" certain things. Be careful though, if the article submission site thinks you are advertising they may disallow your article.

Again the best way to avoid this is to include your link to your website (and on your website, have the affiliate link upfront and easily seen) in the author bio box. While there are other ways to include the link, this is the safest path, and the easiest to avoid rejections.

To avoid rejection, write an article which gives quality advice and information. Writing the article and submitting it to article submission sites is a good way to increase you search engine rank, and be seen as someone who knows what they are talking about. Not to mention, it will increase your traffic and your profits.

Deciding your blogging platform is an important step that you should take only after becoming familiar with the features and benefits of each option.

The Day God Threw Me A Curve Ball on A 3-2 Count and Struck Me Out!

I thought to myself what else could possible go wrong? I have had turmoil almost my whole life but this I thought was the end. We hit a brick wall going 50 mph. My husband just found out his management job was going to end, you heard it before, the Company was bought out by a bigger company and the site where you work will be shut down. It was June of 2005; my husband no longer had a job. This affected our entire family, not only financially, but also emotionally.

We continued on struggling the entire time. Remember, previously he was in a management position making a fairly decent salary, now that amount was dropped in half. Although our bills remained the same they didn't drop in half. Of course I still worked the 9-5, He had a temporary job with a staffing agent. He was on unemployment for 6 months first. He worked that job for a year then the contract ended. You might me wondering, if he was a manager before why is it so hard to find a decent management job again. Well The position he was in, we had worked his up the cooperate ladder, he does not have BA. Therefore trying to get a decent paying job was very trying.

SO, back to my story, his contract ended in Nov. 2006; he applied at my employer as a purchasing specialist. That job lasted about a month.

He had been having severe pain in his neck and left arm. He had been seen for this many times before, but now it was different. We made an appointment with an Orthopedic Surgeon for a consult. His appointment was on 12/06/06. The surgeon told us that surgery was the only answer, otherwise he could end up paralyzed. We were floored, SURGERY oh my goodness. The Dr. told us he would have to have 3 level fusion in his neck. Basically they would use two metal plates and bone from his hip and screw them together.

I was very optimistic coming from a medical background I knew the benefits would out way the risk. Besides my Husband was only 39 years old he would recover fast and well.

So surgery happened on 1/23/07, keep in mind I'm the only one with an income. We have two children a mortgage and car payments. We applied for Social Security Disability, I thought for sure we would be fine. My husband could stay home and recover from this major surgery and we would have checks coming in from Social Security a long with my income.

I could not have any more wrong!

We were denied by Social Security, therefore he has no income what so ever. We are struggling more than ever, with our bills.

It has been 7 months since his surgery!

I have the answer to my prayers, its like God gave me a second chance at bat, this time only throwing me good fast balls that are easy to hit. I have learned a system that allows me to stay home with my husband and two children and make more money than both of us together have ever made. It does take time to learn and you have to be dedicated or you will fall. The best advice I can give is first remember where I came from, the bottom of a very deep hole, to being able to fill in the hole with concrete as to never being there again. Have an open mind, be positive, be patient (I SURELY HAVE), and enjoy life. My motto is why let life run you, run youre own life. So please don't think you are the only one that has been struck out I have been there, now I only hit home runs, you too can benefit from this system just give it a chance to work for you.

For these reason and many others I have chosen to stay homes with my family and create wealth for years to come. I am able to sleep in, go on vacation without limits, watch my children grow, become a better partner to my spouse, and last but not least have FREEDOM from the 9-5. Reading The Hand Lines - The Heart Line

Your hand changes throughout your life. The lines you see in your palm today are not quite the same as they were a year ago and probably very different from five years ago.

Although your hand gives an outline of your life, its only a tentative outline. You have the final decision on the course your life will take. Whether you want the position or not, youre the captain of your own destiny.

Palmistry, like a doctors examination, is strictly a diagnostic reading. It can point out the forces that operate within you, and it can point out the logical results of these forces. You can accept them as they are or begin to change them.

As with the Tarot, be very careful in your phrasing of what you see in a persons palm. Some lines may show a particular area in which your subject has very serious problems. This should be presented as an area of possible weakness and something for which you should be particularly watchful.

On a few occasions you may encounter a particular combination of lines which indicates a premature death. If this is the case, dont blurt out what you see. Rather, emphasize the need for great care to avoid illness, accidents, violence or whatever the rest of the hand may seem to imply as possible causes. Remember, palmistry is only a diagnosis its never a final pronouncement.

As a palmist, your attitude is of great importance. Never try to second guess your subject by adding on-the-spot observations and facts you know from beforehand. Only read the palm. Ideally you should know nothing whatsoever about the person youre reading. Their hands and your intuition should be enough.

THE HEART LINE

The Heart Lines (various ending positions)

The heart line governs our emotional lives and shows how we relate to others. Its the major line nearest the fingers. It runs across the palm, starting under the little finger and usually ends in the area between the first and second finger.

Physical Heart line

If the Heart Line forms a gentle curve, starting under the little finger and ending between the first and second fingers, its known as the Physical Heart Line.

People with Physical Heart Lines are generally able to express their feelings well. Although they suffer their share of ups and downs, they pick themselves up quickly and get on with their lives. Theyre likely to express their feelings in a physical, assertive manner. You could say to someone with this type of heart line:

As your heart line ends right up under the fingers, it shows that you have an open nature and can express your innermost feelings. Youre warm and affectionate. When things go wrong you manage to pick yourself up quickly.

Mental Heart Line

The other type of heart line is the Mental (or Humanitarian) Heart Line. This runs in a straight line right across the palm of the hand and does not curve at the end.

People with Mental Heart Lines find it hard to express their innermost feelings. Theyll suffer in silence rather than make a scene. Theyll have plenty of romantic feelings which take precedence over common sense. Theyre very sensitive and need plenty of room around them. You might say to these people:

You have a heart line that comes straight across your palm. This is known as a Mental Heart Line, and makes it rather difficult for you to express your innermost feelings.

It will gradually become easier for you, but you have to work at it. You can be sensitive at times and possibly bottle things up a bit. You like people, but you need to have room around you at the same time.

As this line governs the emotions its common to find one with defects, as all of us have ups and downs at different times in our lives. The most common visible signs of trauma are a series of islands on the heart line.

These islands indicate a period of difficulty. Generally, the problems stem from a relationship. This makes it very easy to determine if someone had an unhappy marriage followed by a happy one. In this case, the earlier part of the persons life (the part nearest the little finger) will have a multitude of islands, while the rest of the line will be clear.

Ending Positions

The Heart Lines end location is extremely important. Ideally, it should end between the first and second finger. This gives a balance between the ego (represented by the first finger) and the rest of humanity. People with this are realistic about their emotional life and dont have impossible expectations.

If the line ends on or directly under the first finger, the person will be idealistic and easily hurt. Other people will seldom live up to their expectations, leading to frequent disappointments.

If the heart line ends on, or directly under the second finger, the person is inclined to be selfish and think only of themselves and their own personal gratification. Theyll lack emotional involvement.

Often, you will find a heart line that forks in two directions at the end. This person has a complex emotional nature. He or she will see both sides of a situation.

The Girdle of Venus

Every so often youll find a Girdle of Venus. This line is often made up of a series of disjointed small lines. It runs parallel to the Heart Line and is located between the Heart Line and the fingers. This indicates an extremely sensitive and highly emotional person who may be unstable and neurotic.

Establishing A Representative Office In China

Among foreign investors, the most popular form of business establishment in China is the Representative Office. Its main attraction is that it is simpler and cheaper to establish than either a Joint Venture of a Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise since no Registered Capital is required, startup costs are roughly 10% of the cost of establishing either of these. Representative Offices are also open to almost all industry sectors, including some sectors that are off-limits to Joint Ventures and Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprises. Furthermore, the Chief Representative need not reside in China. However, Representative Offices are very limited in the activities that they may carry out.

Why do foreign companies establish Representative Offices in China?

1. To conduct preliminary research before deciding whether or not to make a direct investment in China.

2. To provide data and promotional materials to potential partners and/or clients.

3. To coordinate the activities of its parent company in China.

4. To make travel arrangements for representatives of its parent company or Chinese clients or potential clients.

5. A foreign company might already be doing business with China from overseas but lack the market penetration to justify a full-blown investment (some of these Representative Offices later upgrade to Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprises, Cooperative Joint Ventures, and Equity Joint Ventures. Note that in certain industries such as insurance and finance there are sectors that require foreign investors to operate a Representative Office for at least 2 years before making a direct investment.

6. To hire local employees to help them find suppliers.

7. As a cheap and simple way of doing business in China by exceeding its legal scope of business. This is not a good idea because it is likely to get the company in trouble with the authorities.

8. To establish a presence in a business sector currently forbidden to direct foreign investment with a view to getting to know the market in anticipation that China will liberalize its regulations in the future in line with its WTO commitments.

Representative Offices are generally allowed to:

* lease office space and arrange for utilities
* purchase office supplies
* coordinate the issuance of work permits and visas for foreign employees
* open and maintain bank accounts in local currency and foreign exchange
* display office signs and distribute promotional materials
* hire local staff though labor service organizations (this requirement might be partially lifted if the draft Labor Contract Law goes into effect.

Taxation of Representative Offices

Although a Representative Office may not engage in profit-making activities and cannot receive income, it is still somehow subject to taxation under certain circumstances (usually on a deemed profit basis)

Two types of taxes are generally applicable to Representative Offices are Enterprise Income Tax and Business Tax. It may be subject to taxation, for example, when it acts as business liaison for a transaction that generates commissions. The Enterprise Income Tax rate applicable to Representative Offices is 33% (inclusive of a 3% local surcharge). Fortunately, however, the business activities of a Representative Office can be exempted under certain circumstances, although these exemptions vary from industry to industry.

Representative Offices are required to pay value added tax (VAT), consumption tax, and customs duties on any domestic purchases and/or imported equipment, as well as stamp duties (usually a negligible sum). The Representative Office need not pay property-related taxes for leased office space, so dont let your landlord convince you otherwise.

Legal Status of a Representative Office

A Representative Office is not considered an independent legal entity but rather an extension of its parent company. Accordingly, the parent company must bear all of the Representative Offices legal liabilities and debts. The foreign company should carefully safeguard the Representative Offices financial and corporate seals to ensure that they are not misused.

The authority of the Chief Representative is governed not by Chinese foreign investment law, but rather by the foreign parent companys jurisdiction of incorporation. However, the parent company is still subject to the jurisdiction of the local Chinese courts with respect to all contractual issues, including property rights.

Establishment Procedures

Only one Representative Office may be established in each Chinese city. Set-up is accomplished in 4 steps:

1. Pre-approval Procedure - The foreign parent company must first locate a Chinese sponsor to help it obtain the required approval and registration. This can usually be done with the help of the local Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) office, which will introduce the foreign parent company to a designated agent (a Foreign Enterprise Service Company, a/k/a FESCO) that is licensed by MOFCOM to handle foreign Representative Office applications. The sponsor will charge a fee of approximately US$800 - $1,000 for notifying the foreign company of upcoming deadlines and any problems with the application materials. The foreign company will also be required to enter into a lease for Grade A office space prior to approval, because a signed lease agreement is one of the prerequisites for approval of the Representative Office.

2. Application The Representative Office application and supporting documents should be submitted to the appropriate examination and approval authority. The examination and approval authority for a Representative Office will normally be MOFCOM, but foreign companies in certain industries such as banking, insurance, law, accounting and media will need to apply to the authority with jurisdiction over the foreign companys particular industry. If the application is approved, a Certificate of Approval will be issued by the examination and approval authority, usually for an extendable initial term of 3 years.

3. Registration Registration must be completed within 30 days after the certificate of approval is issued. An application (together with supporting documents; see this sites section on Documentation under Rep Offices for details) is submitted to the local branch of the State Administration of Industry & Commerce (SAIC). This process normally takes 1-2 months and concludes with the issuance of a Certificate of Registration (similar to a business license), which must be renewed annually. Any subsequent change must be registered with the local SAIC.

4. Post-Registration Procedures The new Representative Office is expected to register its location with the local Public Security Bureau (the police), make financial and corporate seals, open a foreign exchange bank account, register with the local and national tax bureaus, complete customs registration (in order to import office equipment and daily necessities for its staff), and register with a FESCO to recruit Chinese staff. The Chief Representative should apply for and receive a Residence Permit from the Public Security Bureau with jurisdiction over his/her residence (see this sites section on Foreign Staff under Labor for further detail)..

Only after completing the foregoing procedures may a Representative Office begin operations. Registration must precede even preliminary activities such as distributing business cards, establishing direct telecommunications lines, and obtaining a multiple entry visa or an apartment for the Chief Representative (the latter requires the Chief Representatives Residence Permit).

Closing Down a Representative Office This can be a lengthy process if it is not handled correctly. This is especially so if the office was not originally established entirely in accordance with Chinese foreign investment law but rather through back-door connections (a common occurrence among Chinas more experienced foreign investors). Chinas legal system is becoming more and more transparent and administrative bodies are increasingly actually enforcing the law, so its a good idea to do things the right way the first time. There are several steps required to close down an office dont just walk away, especially if you have (or think you might have) long-term plans in the China market.

First, various documents need to be prepared and provided to the relevant authorities. A cancellation form needs to be submitted to the Industrial & Commercial Bureau, and a detailed explanation needs to be provided as to why the office is closing. Application must also be made to the local Commission of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation (COFTEC). Both the Representative Office manager and the general manage of the parent company must sign the form. A separate application also needs to be made on parent company letterhead and stamped with its company seal. There must also be a board resolution that agrees to the closure of the office (a statement indicating that the office is to be closed signed by the chairman of the board of the parent company is sometimes accepted).

Further, the bank must provide a notice that confirms cancellation of the Representative Offices bank account. Tax payment certificates and receipts from national and local tax bureaus must also be furnished to the Representative Offices original examination and approval authority along with a brief statement about the settlement of debits and credits. The tax bureau will require the closure audit report to be approved by a certified public accounting firm. The corporate seal, financial seal, and the business license must be surrendered to the Industrial & Commercial Bureau. If all the necessary documents are provided and taxes have been paid, the closure procedure should take roughly 2 weeks.

Nurse, Heal Thyself!

Healing the self is the beginning of the healing journey.

How best to do this?

How have you been healed in the past, and how did it feel?

What spiritual practices have you previously practiced that brought you strength that you continue to use to raise your energy, to gather courage to meet the challenges of the job? and every other challenge of life!

If you no longer are practicing meditation or yoga or any other practice you once did regularly, what would it take to get back to the practice--without excuses!!

Just do it!! Ask your angels for assistance! They will be ecstatic that you remembered them.

You will be rewarded.

Nothing is as it should be. And everything is exactly as it is.

The first statement implies resistence to the dance of life-- the second recognizes a situation for what it is, and acceptance oversees all.

I remember this as I walk into the confines of my hospital walls. We see scenerios all the time that we all proclaim, "NOT FAIR!!"

Who are we to say? But we certainly can say it is exactly as it is--no more, no less.

I have to ask myself: What is in the realm of my ability to help, to change the situation for the better, to help a grieving person, to give comfort and grace?

As I think of ways to help other people, I must be constantly on the lookout for all the ways I must heal.

Because I can't help anyone nor can I help myself as long as I judge, lack acceptance and resist everything that presents --disguised as problems --but truly are opportunities for growth and enlightenment.

And continue to take good care of myself, every moment along the way.

As I age wisely, I've come to realize that Not Thinking is the heart of my own spiritual practice.

Everyday, I meditate, take long slow walks by the river that runs by my house, and do my entrainment brain exercises--giving my brain the same aerobic workout that the rest of my body enjoys with exercise.

And consequently, my mind slows down, and I feel at peace. I am taking care of myself, and can take better care of everyone else.

"Caring" is what a nurse does--in the framework of Being. We listen, give what is needed, take care of machines and do a lot of charting--not necessarily in that order.

Because of our ability to care in this state of Being, and ability as healers, others in the healthcare arena may see nurses as weak and as easy prey--to verbally abuse, to sexually harass, to make her think she is an idiot.

This is what needs to be healed within our profession. We need to take back our strength and our courage. We need to stand together, a nd protect the new nurses coming in. We need to create a forum to make sure our voices are heard.

And continue to take good care of ourselves, every moment, with every breath.
